Food: A Life-changing Experience

I was raised in a family that appreciates good food. For those of you who also appreciate this love, how's this dish?
Friday night we went to dinner at Macaroni Grill and I had one of the best meals of my life…no kidding. It was a honey balsamic chicken with sun-dried tomato cappelinni and steamed broccoli. YUM! Ooh, and don’t forget the blackberry lemonade. Mmm. It pretty much changed my life. Graham says I sounded like Bill Murray in What About Bob? I'm not offended; I'm pretty sure he's right, and I doubt I’ll ever eat anything else at that restaurant; that meal might become the only thing I order from here on out. I mean, why mess with perfection?

In all seriousness, I was reminded why that is one of my favorite restaurants. If anybody can ever find a copy-cat recipe or teach me how to make something that good, I will pay good money for it. So good.

That's it. I just had to share my pleasure at culinary genius!

That looks so good and it's making me hungry. Though I wasn't going to lie when I saw the picture I was hoping that it was a meal YOU'D cooked so you could have given me the recipe.

Did you take that picture at the restaurant?

I'll just have to go there and try it...then maybe give it a try at a copycat version at home. Sounds soooo good.

I love Macaroni Grill. It brings me great joy. I've never tried the balsamic chicken though. I guess that means I should head over to Macaroni Grill.

Jeff mostly just like the bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. He had me buy some nicer bread at the store so he could have a tiny bit of the experience at home. I will have to take him back so he can have the chicken too (and so I can taste it, but I would have to get something else because of the dreaded tomatoes). My personal favorite it the Chicken Marsala.

WOW! I am so sorry about the ridiculous amount of typos in that last comment.

He Meg! I sure love food, too! I got my 200RYT Yoga cert through a training right when I got to Colorado. I started with a weekend Yogafit level 1 training, but Yogafit gets very expensive, so I found a more condensed program. I would look on the Yoga Alliance website for schools. Most programs are weekend trainings (I found a lenient one that didn't make me go on many Sundays). They're all pretty expensive if you want to get your 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, but I probably could have got my rec center teaching job with just the Yogafit Level 1 training. Good luck, and let me know how it goes!
