My mother is one of the most amazing women I have ever known. I have learned so many things from her. For example:
1) If you say you're going to do something, do it.
2) Find out what you're passionate about and go after it.
3) Darth Vader wears the color false.
4) It's okay to be spontaneous sometimes and just have fun!
5) Laughter is really good medicine.
6) If at first you don't succeed in baking cookies because you put in 1/2 cup of baking soda, buy new ingredients and try again. :)
7) Scrabble is the best game ever!
8) Jesus Christ is my best friend.
There are so many other things I have learned. I am so grateful to have been blessed with a mother who has been such a great guide and support as well as a really good friend. Love you, Mom!

I like the story of Darth Vader wears false. Robyn has shared that one with me several times.
I'm glad mom helped you with those cookies (I hate to tell you, but the first ones tasted really salty). I love how mom always helped us learn and grow in our own way. We are all so different yet she had a way of giving us all what we needed when we needed it. Plus she is always fun to laugh with after 9:00 at night.
And we'll always remember to... "Don't Purple!"
I'm glad she is such a good mom because she indirectly changed and influenced my life when I lived with you, Meg. We are definitely products of our Mothers! (I'd also like to add to the list that she makes GORGEOUS flower bouquets!) Much love!
That is a beautiful tribute to your Mom. She is a great lady.
