Adoption...Pass it On!

I love my son. More than anything else in the world, I want him to be happy. He turned our world happily upside down when he entered our lives almost ten months ago. His smiles melt my cranky, over-tired heart; his laughter gives me the giggles, too; his tears make me ache to hold him forever and protect him from the world's disappointments.

It's not easy, but parenthood has been the greatest joy of my life. I wish for every couple to have the joy of snuggling their own child in their arms, watching him (or her) discover the world, and sharing in all the accomplishments and joys of a little spirit.

That's what this post is about: spreading the word about one couple who would LOVE to welcome a child into their family, but they need the help of others to make it happen.

Introducing...Robyn and Jeff Stockett: laughter experts, travel gurus, and adoptive parents-to-be.

What qualifies these two people to be wonderful parents? Here's a little about them from my perspective.

Robyn is my older sister. She is extremely patient, as evidenced by the fact that she didn't kill me when I went through my know-it-all/"Did you ask Mom if you could have that?" stage. She is also a stellar second-grade teacher (you have to be to win teacher of the year), and an awesome cook (hello, homemade pizza dough...mmm).

Jeff, her husband, is one of the funniest guys I know. If you ever need a pick-me-up, read his blog. He came into our crazy family and happily joined in the quirky fun. He is level-headed, a good listener, and extremely well-read...Oh, and he knows just about everything about dinosaurs.

You can learn more about them HERE (at their adoption profile) and HERE (on their family blog).

If you aren't already familiar with their awesomeness, take a moment to become acquainted with them.

Please share their story with those around you. These two will be great parents. I know the Lord will bless them with a child in his timing, and I can't wait to see it happen!
